This European directive concerns electrical and electronic waste equipments. From august 13th 2005, end of life products targeted by this regulation must be separately collected and cleanly recycled. This regulation concerns also the product eco-design.
From July 1st 2006, electrical and electronic equipments affected by this regulation must be put on the market without hazardous substances (lead, mercury, cadmium, chrome 6, PBB, PBDE).
